Sport and recreation can have a significant impact on physical and mental health. Research evidence shows that participation in sport and recreation activities can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. The community participating in sport and recreation provides a sense of value, belonging, and attachment. According to Bandura`s social cognitive theory, behaviors is shaped by the interaction between individual and environmental factors. This program provides physical and mental health through the Multicultural Active Sports Australia (MASports Australia) Club and the Cultural Precinct, Innovation, and Entertainment (CPIE).
