The Victorian Eastern, Western, Inner, and other metropolitans’ areas have had the highest community violence rate and crime for the last five years. The violence and crime have ranged from the Apex gangs to other groups believed to have generated many waves of panic and political debates across Australia. Although there has been a recent resurgence of felons in perilous and unsafe suburban areas, the crime rate has been declining. According to crime statistics, the crime history culminated from the most common crime involve physical altercations, burglary, trespassing, and damaging public or private property. The new crimes are believed to be implanted by Australia born youths from the migrant and refugee backgrounds age 15 to 25years.
This project aims to build safe, and resilience using campaign and education under Community We Care (CWC). There is an urgent need to develop feasible, scalable, and manageable community-led interventions that mitigate the incident crime violence rate and its associated health impacts.
