Mental Health and Wellbeing Yarning Session for Culturally Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Communities in Victoria, Australia.
A brief background
The mental health yarning session is a vital step for our communities who are disarrays amidst COVID-19. Mental health issues are challenging in any society, including the South Sudanese community and other communities in Australia. It is critical to think about early intervention and awareness to assist people with mental health issues and their family members. Together, we can overcome some challenges.
Thus, you are all invited by the Centre for Migrant and Refugee Health to join our mental health yarning session about our community’s mental health challenges.
Our expertise will discuss stresses during COVID_19, depression, trauma, and strategies that can assist people to move forward during difficult time.
