Melbourne, Australia — On 12 November 2023, Apayi Charitable Organisation, Centre for Migrant and Refugee Health, Inc., and LUO Global Foundation Australia came together at the Westwaters Hotel to make a historic joint declaration aimed at addressing critical humanitarian challenges and fostering greater collaboration among African charitable agencies. The event, attended by a diverse range of stakeholders, marks a significant milestone in the collective effort to serve communities in need both locally and globally.
The CEOs of the three organizations, Mr. David (Apayi Charitable Organisation), Mr. Gabrial (LUO Global Foundation Australia), and Mr. Mabor (Centre for Migrant and Refugee Health, Inc.), jointly issued a call to action for other non-profit organizations to join in the establishment of the Consortium of African Charitable Agencies (CACA). This consortium aims to unify and amplify the efforts of African-focused charities to deliver sustainable solutions to those most in need.
