The Centre for Migrant and Refugee Health (CMRH), in collaboration with the Sudanese Mothers Coalition in Victoria, Inc. (SMCV), is hosting a Families and Youth BBQ funded by the Department of Justice and Community Safety and South Sudanese Australian Youth Justice Expert Working Group. This initiative highlights a strong partnership between SMCV and CMRH, emphasizing their shared commitment to supporting and facilitating community-centred projects.
The project aims to bring families and youth together in a welcoming environment to discuss intergenerational challenges. By fostering open dialogue, the event seeks to bridge generational gaps, address pressing issues, and create actionable pathways for positive outcomes within the community.
This collaboration underscores the importance of building understanding, resilience, and shared solutions within migrant and refugee communities.
