The Centre for Migrant and Refugee Health with the support of the Department of Premier and Cabinet auspice mothers’ coalition to celebrate the new year 2021 with the BBQ on Jan 26th, 2021, 12 pm-7 pm, at 20 Neil Street, Sunshine, Sunvale Community Centre.
Part of the celebration is to build community resilience, social connectedness, and social cohesion after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the BBQ will involve community conversation about the impact of COVID-19 on Mental Health during and after the first and second waves of COVID-19.
The community surveys will be conducted to ensure mental health issues among mothers are ascertain while providing necessary mental health advice.
The Sudanese Mothers Coalition works Sudanese or South Sudanese families, parents, and mothers who are living in Victoria and come from various suburbs of Melbourne, including North Western, Eastern and Western of Victoria.
